Slow-Cooker Italian Fagioli Soup

A delicious Italian comfort soup.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or Italian sausage, prepared
  • 1 can (14.5 oz)
    Italian-style diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15.5 oz)
    cannellini and kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 7 oz
    small pasta shells, uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup
    grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Add soup, beef, tomatoes and beans into a medium sized slow cooker.

2. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

3. Stir in pasta and parsley. Cook an additional 30 minutes.

4. Garnish with parmesan and serve.
